Boundary-Setting Education and Self-Defence Classes
Please Contact Us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
With violence against women and girls being declared a national emergency and the drastic rise in hate crime in Scotland and around the world we believe boundary setting and self-defence education can prevent suffering and save lives!
Worth Defending delivers practical, confidence-building training that combines boundary-setting education with real-world self-defence skills. Our goal is to help people feel safer, more aware, and more in control in everyday situations.
Our sessions are designed primarily for women and girls, but we also work with men, organisations, workplaces, schools, and community groups looking to create safer environments. If you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, contact us to discuss.
Each workshop blends discussion and practical training. You’ll learn how to recognise risk, set clear boundaries, and respond effectively - both verbally and physically if needed. Everything is taught in a supportive, non-intimidating environment.
Central belt of Scotland. We run sessions in a range of community spaces, workplaces, and outdoor locations. As we grow, we’re expanding into new areas so if we’re not in your location yet, let us know.
